It was a strike of genius for “Millenium Energy Company” to integrate their newest solar technology with the ancient DNA of the not-so-extinct-now dinosaurs depicted in this archival photo.
Not only these archaic creatures are more suited to the new climate we’ve all had to adapt to, but they also make for a great PR stunt. The “assets” as they call them, are routinely inspected by engineers to make sure they are always generating as much energy as possible. Most of their vital signs are remotely monitored, but every now and then the field engineers quite literally go into the field to see for themselves. In fact they’re very happy to do so, as it’s not common to see dino biomex. They used to be in fashion a couple of decades ago, but now even tourists want to have a look.
Those assets that were “no longer serviceable” were decommissioned and converted into biofuels, so it’s no surprise that many chuckled at the irony of bringing dinosaurs back from extinction only to make oil out of them once again. Others, instead of chuckling, started a neo-luddism movement in favour of oil and carbon emissions, and they took any chance to peacefully protest the advancement of renewable energies, including tresspassing into private land to leave messages via graffiti. Strange times indeed.
